It's a good thing I like her...

I'm learning quickly the trials and tribulations involved with planning a wedding. We finally set a date, May 6, 2006, but that was the easy part. We started looking at churches and in tiny Baldwin, KS, the UMC is going to cost us nearly $1,000 WITHOUT a reception! That price includes nearly $200 for the use of an organist, a non-negotiable and non-optional fee. I thought churches were "not-for-profit" organizations...

Oh well, everybody tells me this will be the first of many hurdles along the way. I knew this was going to be an expensive headache, but it's getting rough already and we've got over a year til the big day :: aa
