Weekend Warrior

Last Sunday, Laura and I and a couple of our friends (Jason & Kelli) loaded up the car and decided to explore some of Colorado and take in the fall colors. We ventured out early and made our way to Colorado Springs to check out Garden of the Gods - definitely very cool. After some time there, we pressed on towards the west, headed towards the small tourist town of Salida on the Arkansas River. Finally, we made our way back through St Elmo - a ghost town in BFE settled down in the Collegiate Peaks (Mt. Harvard, Mt. Princeton, etc)

I posted my pics online and they can be found here. The colors were pretty incredible - so clear and vibrant. It was no Maple Leaf Festival, but it the aspens were definitely worth seeing. The fresh air was also a welcome change from the hussle of the city.

Pics are here.

I'm still alive!

First off, I'll apologize to those of you who actually read this up until about a month ago. I've explained it a couple of times, but here is the short version of a long story...

As you may know, I created the Baker Delts' website over the winter. Because I wanted to create some pages for myself - and didn't want to pay for them myself - I used the Delts' domain (bakerdelts.com) to host my blog and personal pages. Well, about a month ago, the delts decided they didn't want to pay the bill anymore. Once their site got shut down, so did my blog. I FINALLY got around to hosting it again on Blogger.

I'll do my best to keep this updated, but it probably won't be every day. However, be sure to check back here and there and see what's going on out here!
