Back to Normal
Finally - things are back to normal! No, I don't mean at work and I don't mean at home. I'm talking basketball. It's official - for the 32nd time in the last 33 games, KU has beaten K-State in basketball. For those of you KSU fans who were SO insistent on bragging about how "great" you suddenly were after the stunning upset earlier this season, let's take a look at the REAL facts...
...KU has NEVER lost in Bramlage Coliseum - they are a perfect 18-0 on K-State's "home" court.
...The last time that KSU beat KU in Manhattan (1983), Ronald Reagan was president, cell phone testing had just been approved by the FCA, and stamps were only 20 cents.
...KSU has beaten KU only ONCE since 1994
Now, if the shear Jayhawk dominance wasn't enough, should we consider some other pertinent information? It has been over a decade since KSU last appeared in the NCAA tournament, meaning everyone else beats them just as often as KU.
I guess there is always football season, eh KSU fans?

Seriously, the obsession needs to end. Who cares about the whole KU/KSU rivalry? No one but KU fans during basketball really care. Couldn't you spend your countless hours that you waste watching basketball doing something better w/ your life...like hanging out w/ your lady? What a novel idea.
do you remember when that one win over KU since 94 was? Oh yeah, just a couple months ago. Maybe you should think about getting off your high horse and realize that the "rivalry" is tied for this season and maybe you aren't all you're cracked up to be.
and one more time, although I know the two of us have had this conversation a MILLION times: I would rather NEVER make the tournament than go in with a number one ranking and lose to Bucknell in the first round. At least that way when you beat KU for the first time in 12 years it means something. Instead of spending every season disappointed by another loss that came too early in the tourney.

Just remember...I wasn't with the KSU high and mighty, I said I would live up the win a few months ago all I could because I knew to a scientific degree of ceratainty that there was no way on this Earth or any other that K-State would win the second one.
