The two dumbest things you'll hear all week

At various times during the week, we all hear our fair share of stupid things. However, I thought the following two were noteworthy of blogging about...

1.) "...expect a high of 38 today in Denver, a low in single digits. It's currently 42 degrees in the Mile High City..." These were some infamous words from a weatherman one morning.

2.) "If you lost everything in Hurricane Katrina and are now homeless, please visit our website for information that can help you get back on your feet." I paraphrased a little bit but no, I'm not kidding. Some Colorado organization decided to play a TV COMMERCIAL for HOMELESS people and told them to visit a WEBSITE for help! How could I even make up something like that?
